Bio: Neta J. Rose is an actor, theatre-creator, and producer based in Toronto, and a graduate of the University of Toronto's Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies. During her tenure as Artistic Producer of FIXT POINT Arts & Media, Neta researched, created, and performed site-specific theatrical multimedia works across Ontario. Neta is a founding member of Create! Youth Theatre in Scotland, where she produced and directed a number of projects, including Ali Smith's Just, and a new stage adaptation of Dianna Wynne-Jones’ Howl’s Moving Castle. Currently, Neta is producing Christine Brubaker's new adaptation of Henry V, entitled Henry G20, and will soon be seen onstage in Hart House Theatre's production of The Penelopiad.
With a background in clown and community engagement, Neta's practice is rooted in radical listening, with an aim to create generous experiences that speak to audiences.
