Richard Tse, born in Indonesia, grew up in Hong Kong, is now an actor based in Toronto. Through performing, he hopes to connect with audiences, touch people’s hearts and change people’s lives for the better. He is excited to be part of the cast of Ga Ting and hopes to bring more understanding and harmony to families, and humanity in general.

 

Among the many theatre projects, Richard has received rave reviews on Red Snow (Red Snow Collectives) in Toronto and Shanghai, and Tuesdays with Morrie (TorCanAA), which was a collaboration with award-winning director and actor from Hong Kong, performed in Cantonese. 

 

 

In films and television, Richard has played a wide range of characters, including a taciturn father in primetime TV series Second Jen, recurring as Ming’s Father in TV mini-series Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, a Chinese Consul General in The Border and a Captain in Mayday.
